Former Foremost Farms CEO Don Storhoff Passes

A private family funeral service will be held on Sunday for Donald Storhoff of Reedsburg, who served as president and CEO of Foremost Farms USA for many years. He died on October 14 at the age of 86.

Storhoff was employed for 47 years in the dairy industry, beginning his career at the Preston Creamery Association. He would eventually take over leadership roles for Wisconsin Dairies Cooperative before it was renamed as Foremost Farms USA in 1995.

Don was also a past member and president of several state and national dairy and food organizations. In 2000, he was chosen to lead a special task force to explore ways to improve Class III prices in the dairy market. The International Dairy Foods Association also honored him for his contributions to the cheese industry's growth and development in the state.

He retired in December 2001.
