Improve Farm Drainage - Wisconsin Drainage Workshop 2025

By Blake Jackson

Farmers, landowners, and those managing their own tile systems will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge at the upcoming Drainage Workshop on February 20, 2025.

The event, designed to provide a strong foundation in drainage system design and regulations, will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Fond du Lac County Highway Department, located at 1820 S. Hickory, Fond du Lac.

Participants will gain valuable insights into laying out and designing drainage systems to maximize efficiency.

The workshop will also cover Wisconsin water laws and agency regulations that affect drainage activities. Additionally, attendees will learn techniques for identifying existing tile systems within a field.

The registration fee is $30 per person if completed before noon on February 17. After the deadline or at the door, the fee increases to $40.

Cancellations made before the February 17 deadline are eligible for a full refund upon request, but refunds will not be provided after this date. Partial attendance or opting out of the meal will not affect the registration cost.

Attendees can expect a confirmation email within two to three days after registering. Those registering multiple individuals from the same farm or business for one location can use a single form. However, separate registrations are required for those attending different locations.
