The National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) is reinforcing its commitment to agricultural innovation as the new frontline sponsor of a groundbreaking study on drone technology adoption in agriculture.
This research is conducted by Stratovation Group, with partnerships including SweetWater Technologies, Agri Spray Drones, and strategic alliances like the Agricultural Retailers Association and The Fertilizer Institute.
This farmer-centric initiative aims to evaluate and optimize the use of drones for tasks such as input application, scouting, and precision management.
By integrating farmer-driven insights, the study seeks to understand how drones can be better tailored to the needs of those on the ground—the farmers themselves.
"NCGA is proud to sponsor the survey, which will inform future use, marketing, and policy directions that will benefit agriculture," said Russell Williams, chair of NCGA’s Production and Sustainability Action Team.
The inclusion of NCGA ensures that the voices of corn farmers are central to the discussion, reflecting their significant role in employing advanced technologies for efficient and sustainable farming practices.
Participants in the study will provide in-depth feedback, which sponsors can use to guide policy discussions, product development, and customer engagement strategies.
The findings are anticipated to not only shape the future of drone use in agriculture but also to enhance the overall technological landscape within the sector.
