The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.
On Tuesday, Michael Dykes of the International Dairy Foods Association will provide an update on what his organization has been involved with recently when it comes to trade and exports, nutrition, innovation and sustainability.
Dr. Mike Overton, DVM, of Zoetis Animal Health will team up with Dr. Matt Akins, Extension Dairy Specialist with the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Wednesday's program. They will discuss the impact heifer selection can have on your culling decisions and how that can enhance profitability on your dairy farm.
And on Thursday, Dr. Gerard Cramer, DVM, with the Department of Veterinary Population Medicine of the University of Minnesota will talk about how you can use hoof trimming records to make informed decisions about your hoof health program.
