The University of Wisconsin Division of Extension offices in Chippewa and Buffalo Counties in partnership with Security Financial Bank are hosting an Agricultural Romance: Flirting with Farming workshop on July 8 at Autumn Harvest Winery near Chippewa Falls. The program will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Flirting with Farming will address enterprise budgets, basic tax issues, and the relationship you have with your spouse or partner and lender.
Topics and speakers include Carl Duley, Buffalo County Extension Agriculture Educator and Jerry Clark Chippewa County Extension Agriculture Educator, 'Farm and Specialty Crop Enterprise Budgeting'; Katie Wantoch, Dunn County Extension Agriculture Educator; 'Farm Taxes: Know the Basics'; Jeanne Walsh Chippewa County Extension Human Development and Relationship Educator and Kristin Woodard, Relationship Manager, Security Financial Bank, 'Financial Planning' and 'Communicating Farm and Relationship Goals.'
The cost to attend is $15, which includes lunch, refreshments and materials.
