The Wisconsin Cattlemen's Association will be hosting its annual Summer Cattle Production Tour in western Wisconsin later this month. The tour will be held on June 18, with three stops near Menomonie.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit K-Lund Angus Farm near Woodville, SKOR Cattle Co. located in Clear Lake, and ALCIVIA - Menomonie Feed Mill.
Meanwhile, there will be a social media panel featuring Andrea Severtson Flemming (That Fit Advocate), Emily Rowley (Wisco FarmHer), and Brittany Peterson (BarnBarbiesEnterprise). They will discuss successes and challenges on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Additionally, University of Minnesota Extension Educator Troy Salezer will share information about production benchmarks for cow-calf operations and how they relate to the profitability of the herd.
The goal of the tour aligns with WCA's mission to promote networking and education among beef producers.
Registration will be $50 for WCA members and $100 for non-members.
