Over two dozen farm animals were lost in a barn fire north of Eau Claire early Monday morning.
Authorities say the blaze was reported at 1:30 a.m. on a farm near Cornell in Chippewa County.
Fire crews said the barn and a nearby shed were completely destroyed, along with 30 goats. No people were injured while battling the fire.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined, but lightning is not being ruled out as there was severe weather in the area at the time.
