Register now - Badger crops and soils update meetings

By Blake Jackson

Registration is now open for the annual Badger Crops and Soils Update meetings, which will take place from December 3-6, 2024.

These meetings offer an opportunity for farmers, agronomists, and others in the agricultural community to gain valuable insights into the latest research and best practices for agronomy, pest control, and nutrient management from the University of Wisconsin.

The meetings will be held in three in-person locations: Eau Claire on December 3, Arlington on December 4, and Appleton on December 5. Additionally, a virtual session will be offered via Zoom on December 6.

The full-day workshops will feature UW Madison faculty and Extension educators presenting the latest findings on key topics, including soil and water management, forage and grain production, pest management, and farm economics.

In-person attendees will also enjoy lunch as part of the registration fee, while those attending virtually will benefit from a reduced registration rate.

Early bird registration is available until November 1, 2024, and walk-in registration will also be available on the day of the event at the full price.

This is a valuable opportunity for those interested in the most current agricultural practices to engage with experts and improve on-farm application of new research findings.
