WALSAA Seeks Nominations for 50 Years of Standouts

The Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Sciences Alumni Association is accepting nominations for recognition of "WALSAA Standouts," which will include ten individuals or couples who have made exceptional contributions to WALSAA over its first five decades. Two WALSAA Standouts will be selected to represent each decade: 1972-81, 1982-91, 1992-01, 2002-11 and 2012-Present.

"WALSAA has a remarkable legacy of service to UW-Madison's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Our 50th Anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to recognize those who have made that legacy of service possible," said WALSAA President Taylor Fritsch.

Nominations may be submitted by emailing admin@walsaa.org by August 12. They should include the name of the individual or couple nominated, the decade(s) for which they are nominated, and a brief summary of their contributions to WALSAA. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.

Selections will be made by a subcommittee of the WALSAA Board of Directors. Selected "WALSAA Standouts" will be recognized at this year's WALSAA Football Fire-Up on September 10.
