Wisconsin Farm Bureau's Silver Clover Support Empowers Wisconsin 4-H Youth

Wisconsin Farm Bureau has been honored as a Silver Clover supporter by the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation, recognizing their unwavering commitment to the state's youth. With an annual contribution of $5,000 to the Key Award program, Wisconsin Farm Bureau has been a dedicated ally of the Wisconsin 4-H for over three decades.

As the largest general farm organization in the state, Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation plays a pivotal role in advocating for farmers and driving rural community development.

The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation's Executive Director, Brenda Scheider, expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing support of generous partners like Wisconsin Farm Bureau. Their contributions enable 4-H to develop cutting-edge programs that equip young people with practical skills, preparing them to overcome the challenges of today and tomorrow. These initiatives have a profound impact on individuals, communities, and even the world, making Wisconsin Farm Bureau's collaboration invaluable.

Since its inception in 1914, Wisconsin 4-H has played a vital role in nurturing the talents and capabilities of young individuals, empowering them to thrive in our complex and ever-changing society. What began as agricultural clubs facilitating connections between families and the University of Wisconsin Extension's farming advancements has now evolved into a comprehensive organization encompassing STEM, leadership, healthy living, and communications programs. These initiatives pave the way for Wisconsin's youth to build a brighter and more prosperous future.

4-H, one of Wisconsin's oldest and largest statewide youth organizations, operates in both urban and rural areas. From the bustling city of Milwaukee to the rural landscapes of Bayfield County, 4-H is leaving a positive imprint on young lives across the state. With an impressive participation rate of nearly 150,000 youth annually and the dedicated support of over 22,000 volunteers, Wisconsin 4-H continues to uplift and inspire its members.

The Madison-based Wisconsin 4-H Foundation plays a critical role in providing essential funding for 4-H programs throughout the state. By forging partnerships with individuals, corporations, and foundations, the Foundation sustains and enhances leadership, youth development, and community-building activities.
