After three consecutive months of declines, the Wisconsin all milk price leveled off in September to average $22.10 per hundredweight. According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was unchanged from the August price, but was $3.70 more than last September.
The highest September price in the nation was found in Florida, where producers received $29.40, followed by Georgia's $29.30.
Meanwhile, the U.S. all milk price was $24.40 per cwt, $2.30 higher than Wisconsin's price and 10 cents higher than last month's U.S. price.
