Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin will once again be working with Discover Dairy's Adopt a Cow program during the upcoming school year to educate youth about animal agriculture.
Last year, ten Wisconsin dairy calves taught their unique farm story to thousands of school kids across the state after their classrooms 'adopted' them from one of three Wisconsin dairy farms as a classroom mascot or pet.
The project allowed students an opportunity to follow a calf through a series of updates and photos provided by their farm families.
The deadline to sign-up for the program is September 15. To learn more ore to register your classroom, go to: www.discoverdairy.com/adopt.
