The latest in agronomic research being conducted by University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers will be discussed at the 2022 Agronomy and Soils Field Day. The program is being hosted by UW-Madison Departments of Agronomy and Soil Science in collaboration with the Arlington Agricultural Research Station on August 31
Check-in starts at 8:00 a.m. followed by field tours. The wagons will make a total of four stops, spending approximately 40 minutes at each. While at each stop, attendees will listen to three to four 10-minute presentations, followed by a time for questions.
Topics include pest management in a changing climate, cover crops and soil health, and using technology to drive yield.
A lunch meal, available for $10 after the field tours and presentations, will be provided by the Wisconsin Association of Professional Agricultural Consultants.
