The Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association (WCA) is now accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors who are residents of Wisconsin and have a background in the beef, veal, or dairy industry. The application period will remain open until February 28.
Eligible students must be planning to attend a university, technical college, or community college, with preference given to those pursuing an agriculture-related field of study or enrolling in a Wisconsin institution.
Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to attend the WCA Summer Tour, which will take place in June 2025 in Southeast Wisconsin. This annual event typically includes tours of local beef businesses and concludes with an awards ceremony and dinner.
The tour offers a valuable opportunity for students to engage with industry professionals and gain insight into the agriculture sector.
To apply, students must submit a completed application form, an essay, two letters of recommendation, and a high school office enrollment verification form.
These documents can be mailed to the WCA office at 957 Liberty Drive, Suite 201, Verona, WI 53593, or emailed to info@wisconsincattlemen.com.
For more details about the scholarship and to access the application form, visit the Wisconsin Cattlemen’s Association website at www.wisconsincattlemen.com/resources/scholarships.
This scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for students passionate about the agricultural industry and those seeking to pursue further education in agriculture-related fields.
