The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF) has announced its new leadership team following its 105th Annual Meeting. Brad Olson, a crop farmer from Polk County, has been re-elected as President, while Joe Bragger, a farmer from Buffalo County, will continue to serve as Vice President.
Olson, who has been actively involved in the organization since 2022, has made significant contributions to WFBF. He and his wife, Vicky, farm over 600 acres of crops and are dedicated members of the Polk-Burnett Farm Bureau.
Brian Preder, a landowner and custom harvester from Waupaca County, was elected President of Rural Mutual Insurance Company. Robert Nigh, a dairy farmer from Vernon County, will serve as First Vice President.
The WFBF Board of Directors is composed of nine elected members representing each of the organization's nine districts. Additionally, the chairs of the Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee and the Promotion and Education Committee serve as ex-officio members.
Jim Renn, a beef and crop farmer from Waukesha County, was elected to the board, representing District 1. Pete Badtke, a beef and crop farmer from Green Lake County, was elected to represent District 5. Robert Nigh was re-elected to represent District 3.
Steve Mueller, a farmer from St. Croix County, was elected Chair of the Promotion and Education Committee. Kendall Riskedal, a farmer from Jefferson County, was elected Chair of the Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee. Both will serve as members of the WFBF Board.
The WFBF Board of Directors is committed to representing the interests of Wisconsin farmers and advocating for policies that support agriculture and rural communities.
