BRANDT has strengthened its product management capabilities with the addition of Brian Deverman as Global Senior Product Director. This strategic move aims to bridge marketing, sales, and innovation to optimize BRANDT t’s product portfolio and market positioning.
Karl Barnhart, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer, expressed his excitement, stating, "We’re thrilled to have Brian join us. Brian will bring focus, leadership, and--most importantly--strategic thinking to this new function."
The new product management function will operate from Springfield, Illinois, with a global mandate. Deverman’s extensive experience includes roles at Bayer CropScience and Monsanto, where he led biofuel feedstock initiatives and licensing projects.
Deverman, a native of Illinois, shared, "I grew up 15 miles from BRANDT’s Illinois headquarters, and our family worked with BRANDT’s retail group for years. This opportunity aligned perfectly with my skills and background."
The team will also integrate insights from Alex Lovdahl, Director of Insights & Analytics, who has built advanced data tools for decision-making. "The real magic will happen when we integrate the data analytics capabilities into the product management function," Barnhart noted.
