The latest research information on improving transition cow performance will be presented at the 2022 Four-State Dairy Nutrition and Management Conference this summer. The event will be held June 1-2 at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa.
This conference is a collaborative effort of Extension professionals from Iowa State University, University of Illinois, University of Minnesota, and University of Wisconsin. The goal is to provide timely research information for dairy industry professionals.
Other topics during the forum include utilizing alternative feeds for profit and sustainability, heat stress indicators in dry cows and pre-weaned calves, developing your people for high performance, alternative forages for dry cows, and much more.
Cost to attend is $150 if signed-up before May 20 and $175 after that day and at the door. Registration includes conference proceedings, listed meals and breaks.
