A University of Wisconsin-Madison student is among this year's winners of the Mid America CropLife Association scholarship program.
Mackenzie Hintz of Stevens Point, who is majoring in Agronomy, will receive $2,000 to help with her college tuition expenses. She was one of 12 students from across the nation to be selected for the honor.
Hintz will graduate in May 2022. She will intern with Helena Agri-Enterprises this summer.
This is the tenth year for the scholarship program, which is designed to expose future agriculturalists to the crop protection industry and future career opportunities.
All candidates must be studying in an agricultural area and be enrolled at one of the Land-Grant Universities in the MACA region.
