Four dairy farms in Wisconsin will host events in August to give people a chance to learn about dairy production and how farmers care for their animals and the environment. The event is called ACE Twilight Meetings, and is open to everyone, including rural and urban residents, elected officials, community leaders, and more.
The meetings will be held on August 28, 29, 30, and 31 at dairy farms in Washington, Rock, Polk, and Wood Counties. Each meeting will begin with a tour of the farm, followed by a discussion about dairy production and related topics such as water conservation, transportation, and education. Ice cream will be served at the end of the evening.
These Meetings are a great opportunity for people to learn about dairy production and how it impacts their community. With a chance to connect with farmers and other community members. The events are free and open to the public.
