The nation's largest organic farming conference is returning to La Crosse early next year. Organized by the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service, or MOSES, the 33rd annual forum will be held February 24-26 at the La Crosse Center.
Attendees will have a chance to participate in educational workshops and a trade show. In addition to attending the conference, farmers can take an all-day Organic University course to learn in-depth about topics ranging from farm transitioning to vegetable pathology.
Keynote speakers A-dae Romero-Briones and Emily Kawano will be addressing cross-cutting issues that are critical for the organic movement: equity and building a solidarity economy for agriculture.
There will also be plenty of food samples, entertainment and educational resources for people to take home with them.
For more information or to register, call the MOSES office at 715-778-5775.
