PDPW Announces Speakers for Weekly Dairy Signal Jun 28 - 30

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.

On Tuesday, Paul Marik, captain of patrol division for the village of Pleasant Prairie, will talk about how human trafficking can and does happen everywhere. Viewers can learn what signs to look for in rural areas and in agricultural workforces, and what you can do to prevent it.

The presenters on Wednesday will share summaries of their research as it pertains to heifer development. Speakers include Ana Vieira, Syngenta; Samantha Zeitler, JBS USA; and Dr. Corwin Nelson, PhD, University of Florida.

And on Thursday, David Hart, a hydrogeologist for the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey, will explore the water yields of rural wells, as well as the resources available in Wisconsin and other states.

All episodes are free and available to the public, accessible from www.pdpw.org. They are streamed live at 12:00 noon or available on demand for later playback.
