The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin says another group of speakers are set to take part in the online Dairy Signal program this week.
On Tuesday, Dr. John Shutske, professor and Extension specialist in Biological Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will explain the pros and cons of utilizing the latest technology in farm automation.
Dr. Melissa Cantor, PhD with the Department of Population Medicine at University of Guelph in Canada will be Wednesday's presenter. She will share her research findings on feeding behavior and health with calves, and the potential for artificial intelligence and data from automatic calf feeders to diagnose and monitor disease in calves.
And on Thursday, Sarah Wiersma from Ameriprise Financial Services will discuss the short- and long-term strategies for retirement savings, and learn the right questions to ask when considering off-farm investments.
