Rachel LaCount has been appointed as the Director of Foundation and Sustainability Communications for the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation (WFBF).
LaCount has held the position of Director of Sustainability Communications and Partnerships since June 2021.
“Rachel excels at showcasing our members’ stories and has been a great asset in building WFBF’s communications efforts within the sustainability space,” said WFBF Executive Director of Public Relations Amy Eckelberg. “I am confident she will apply those skills to enhance the efforts of Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Foundation, as well.”
In this expanded role, LaCount will continue to lead WFBF's sustainability initiatives. LaCount responsibilities will include media relations, managing the 35 Under 35 program, and regularly contributing to the Gather Wisconsin platform.
In addition, LaCount will now take on communications duties for the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation. Working closely with the Foundation’s Director, LaCount will focus on growing brand awareness through social media, print, and digital strategies.
“I am excited to use my skills and experience to grow my role in supporting Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation’s esteemed programs,” said LaCount. “The Foundation is sustaining the future of agriculture by setting up leaders for success and I look forward to elevating these stories.”
With her background and expertise, LaCount’s contributions to both sustainability and foundation efforts are expected to further strengthen WFBF’s mission and outreach in Wisconsin’s agricultural sector.
