State Agriculture Secretary Randy Romanski has appointed Aileen Switzer as the new assistant deputy secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Switzer currently serves as Division of Budget and Strategic Initiatives Administrator at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
"Aileen has a strong background in public sector budget, operations, and management," Romanski said. "The DATCP team works to serve as a resource to the industry and citizens of the state. Aileen's results-driven approach will benefit the agency's commitment to strategic initiatives and stakeholder engagement, and I am glad she is bringing her talents to DATCP."
Switzer is replacing Eric Ebersberger, who is retiring later this month. Her first day at DATCP will be June 20.
