Wenzel's Farm Sets Guinness Record with 314-ft Meat Stick

Wenzel's Farm Sets Guinness Record with 314-ft Meat Stick

Wenzel's Farm in central Wisconsin has set the Guinness World Record for the longest meat snack stick. The single, continuous snack stick measured 314 feet long.

The award-winning, premium provider of high-quality, hand-crafted meat snacks achieved the record on August 19, 2023, as part of its 75th anniversary celebration. A Guinness World Records adjudicator was on hand to confirm the record.

The snack stick was made with a casing that was specially created by Devro to be long enough and strong enough to withstand the weight of the meat. It took a team of 20 people to make the snack stick, which was then sliced into pieces and served to guests at the celebration.

Wenzel's Farm has been providing quality meat products for 75 years. The company's president, Mark Vieth, said that setting the Guinness World Record was a "perfect way to celebrate this amazing milestone."

"It has been an honor to be part of this community for the last 75 years, and we look forward to the next 75," Vieth said. "As a company, we want to thank everyone who joined us in this celebration and helped us be a part of making history."

Wenzel's Farm is still operating on the family farmstead in which the brand originated. The company has been using family recipes that have been handed down for generations since it began producing quality Wisconsin meat products in 1949.
