Export Exchange 2024 ignites global Agri tours

By Jamie Martin

Export Exchange 2024, a pivotal event for global agricultural trade, sponsored by the U.S. Grains Council, Growth Energy, and the Renewable Fuels Association, concluded with an emphasis on innovation, sustainability, and the global competitiveness of U.S. corn.

Ryan LeGrand, President and CEO of the USGC, expressed optimism about the event's impact on U.S. agriculture, stating, "We are incredibly excited to see the impact that this week will have in the coming year as international stakeholders continue to generate new business within the U.S. value chain."

Following the conference, trade teams from around the world are set to visit various U.S. states to see firsthand the advanced agricultural practices and facilities that bolster the U.S. position in global markets.

Teams from China, Taiwan, Mexico, and regions such as the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia will tour states like Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, and North Dakota among others.

These visits are crucial for fostering direct relationships and understanding the high quality of U.S. agricultural products. For instance, teams will examine corn-growing operations, DDGS production at ethanol plants, and the logistics of port facilities, enhancing their network with U.S. suppliers.

This direct interaction is part of the broader strategy to strengthen U.S. agricultural exports by showcasing its innovative and sustainable practices to international buyers, promising to enhance long-term trade relationships.
