The Midwest Vegetable Growers Network, in partnership with UW-Extension and FairShare CSA, is offering an essential webinar for farmers interested in farm succession planning.
The event, titled Cultivating Your Farm’s Future, is designed to help farmers plan for the future of their operations, focusing on where they are now and where they want to be down the road.
This virtual course allows farmers to participate regardless of location, making it accessible to a wider audience, including families located in other areas.
The course provides valuable insights into farm succession, an often-overlooked aspect of farm management that ensures the sustainability and longevity of the farm business.
In addition to the virtual session, participants will receive a workbook for ongoing reference, allowing them to revisit important concepts and continue their succession planning journey after the webinar.
The webinar is free to attend, but registration is required to secure a spot. The session will cover topics such as crops and soils, dairy, farm management, and livestock, offering a well-rounded approach to farm succession planning.
For those interested in attending, the event is available online, making it convenient for farmers from all over to access.
