Madeline Horvath has achieved the prestigious 4-H Key Award from the University of Wisconsin’s Dunn County 4-H program, a distinction marking her as one of the leading lights of her generation in community and club leadership. Active for ten years in the Cedarlings 4-H Club in Menomonie, Wisconsin, she currently presides as President, demonstrating her commitment and capability in guiding her peers.
The Key Award acknowledges Madeline’s broad participation across multiple 4-H categories such as photography, cultural arts, and more at the local county fair, reflecting her versatile engagement in the organization. Her leadership journey within 4-H has also included positions like Vice President and Historian, which provided foundational experiences that honed her organizational and leadership skills.
Madeline’s notable achievements in 4-H are underpinned by her previous awards in Citizenship, Achievement, and Leadership, which qualified her for this honor. Her active participation in community service and club activities showcases the real-world applications of the leadership skills fostered by 4-H
One highlight of her 4-H experience was the American Spirit Experience, allowing her to explore significant American historical sites and meet peers from across the country, enriching her educational and social experience.
