The North Central Wisconsin Cattlemen's Association is organizing an event next month for all who are curious about raising beef. The group's 2022 Beef Expo will be held at K Bar R Arena near Medford on August 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The event will feature peer-to-peer learning as members and invited instructors present hands-on demonstrations at multiple stations.
Topics include AI and calving management, marketing, body condition scoring, herd health protocols, show fitting, cattle handling management, field and forage demos, and more. There will also be cow pie bingo, a silent auction, and youth activities.
There is no cost to attend, but 100 lunch meals will be for sale for a $15 fee.
