Mark your calendars, Wisconsin farmers! The state's biggest gathering of agricultural voices, Ag Day at the Capitol, is set for January 31st at the Monona Terrace in Madison. This powerhouse event brings together farmers from across the state, representing diverse farm groups, to engage with their legislators and learn about key issues impacting Wisconsin agriculture.
Brad Olson, President of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau, champions this opportunity: "We're proud to host this platform for farmers to share their stories directly with decision-makers. Connecting with legislators face-to-face is the most impactful way to advocate for our industry's future."
The day kicks off at 11:00 am with registration, followed by a program at 11:30 am. After a delicious lunch, attendees can dive into issue briefings and then head to the Capitol to meet with their legislators between 3 and 5 pm. Remember, scheduling appointments in advance is crucial, so make that call before January 31st!
Early registration is a steal at $30, grab your spot before prices jump to $60 after January 25th or at the door. Register for Ag Day at the Capitol by visiting bit.ly/AgDay-WFBF.
