On October 4, 2024, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is set to host the Global Dairy Summit at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.
This significant event, scheduled from 9 to 11:30 a.m., will bring together national leaders to discuss the current and future state of the dairy industry.
The summit aims to provide valuable insights into the dairy economy, exploring industry outlooks and potential marketing opportunities. It’s an essential gathering for farmers, processors, businesses, and global stakeholders looking to stay ahead in the ever-evolving dairy sector.
Notable presenters at the summit include Krysta Harden, President and CEO of the U.S. Dairy Export Council, and Mike McCully, President of McCully Consulting.
Other industry leaders like Heather Anfang from Land O’ Lakes and Dave Lenzmeier from Milk Specialties Global will also share their expertise.
DATCP Secretary Randy Romanski will open the summit with welcoming remarks, and Corey Geiger from CoBank will moderate the panel discussion.
The summit will be held at Tanbark on the Expo grounds at Alliant Energy Center. Attendance is free with paid admission to the World Dairy Expo, but pre-registration is recommended to ensure a spot.
