Three Wisconsin Dairy Youth Named Semifinalists for Prestigious DJM Award

Three Wisconsin Dairy Youth Named Semifinalists for Prestigious DJM Award

Ainsely Noble (Lancaster), Madeline Hensel (Pittsville), and Lauren Siemers are three young dairy leaders from Wisconsin who have been named semi-finalists for the DJM Award, a prestigious recognition given to outstanding dairy youth who have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to the dairy industry. The three semi-finalists are among 24 youth from across the country who have been selected for this honor.

The DJM Award, named after the late Dave Jones and his wife Jane, recognizes the legacy of the Jones family, who were known for their contributions to the dairy industry and their support of young dairy leaders. The award is given to youth who have shown exceptional leadership skills, a dedication to the dairy industry, and a commitment to community service.

The three Wisconsin semi-finalists are being recognized for their impressive achievements and contributions to the dairy industry. Their involvement in various programs and organizations, such as 4-H and FFA, and their leadership roles in these groups have helped to promote the dairy industry and inspire other young people to get involved.

The semi-finalists will go through a rigorous selection process, which includes an interview and evaluation of their accomplishments and contributions to the industry. The finalists will be announced later this year and will receive a scholarship to support their continued education and leadership development.

The recognition of these young dairy leaders is a testament to the future of the dairy industry in Wisconsin and the contributions that youth are making to ensure its continued success. The DJM Award is a fitting tribute to the Jones family's legacy and serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting and investing in the next generation of dairy leaders.
