Wisconsin Corn Growers endorse leaders for 2024 election

The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA) has officially endorsed several candidates for the upcoming November 5, 2024, election.

These endorsements cover both the Wisconsin State Senate and the Wisconsin State Assembly, with a focus on supporting individuals who have shown a strong commitment to agriculture in the state.

In the Wisconsin State Senate, the WCGA backs Sen. Joan Ballweg (R - Pardeeville), Sen. Dan Feyen (R - Fond du Lac), Sen. Brad Pfaff (D - Onalaska), Sen. Rob Stafsholt (R - New Richmond), and Sen. Pat Testin (R - Stevens Point).

For the Wisconsin State Assembly, endorsed candidates include Rep. Clinton Anderson (D - Beloit), Rep. Alex Dallman (R - Green Lake), Rep. Kalan Haywood (D - Milwaukee), Rep. Karen Hurd (R - Withee), Rep. Jenna Jacobson (D - Oregon), Rep. Joel Kitchens (R - Sturgeon Bay), Rep. Tony Kurtz (R - Wonewoc), Rep. Jeffrey Mursau (R - Crivitz), Rep. Greta Neubauer (D - Racine), Rep. Todd Novak (R - Dodgeville), Rep. Loren Oldenburg (R - Viroqua), Rep. Treig Pronschinske (R - Mondovi), and Rep. Travis Tranel (R - Cuba City).

“The Wisconsin Corn Growers Association is proud to endorse a bipartisan group of candidates who have demonstrated their commitment to supporting Wisconsin’s agricultural industry,” said James Giese, WCGA President. “Our endorsements are based on a comprehensive review of their voting records and leadership on key issues affecting corn growers. We are confident these candidates will continue to champion policies that strengthen Wisconsin’s rural economy and benefit our member-growers”
