The American Farm Bureau Federation has announced its picks for various governing boards and committees who all serve at the local, state and national levels.
Several newly appointed volunteers will provide leadership beginning in 2023 as farmer and rancher members of the AFBF's Promotion & Education and Young Farmers & Ranchers committees.
From Wisconsin, Ben and Haily Sand from Menomonie will serve on the YF&R Committee. They grow rye, corn, soybeans, sweet corn, pumpkins and squash on their farm in Dunn County.
And Lynn Leahy of Hancock, who grows potatoes in central Wisconsin, was re-appointed for a two-year term on the P&E Committee.
National committee members are nominated by their respective state Farm Bureaus.
