Class III Milk Price Dips to $15.95 for August



The USDA announced that the August Federal Order Class III milk price fell to $15.95 per hundredweight. That was 54-cents lower for the month, and $3.83 below August 2020.

So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.78 during 2021.

The Class IV component price was eight-cents lower for the month at $15.92, and $3.82 less than last year.

Earlier this week, Wisconsin's all milk price for July was announced at $17.70 cwt., which was 60-cents lower than last month's price and $4.60 below the same month last year.
