The fifth annual Dairy Summit will take place on 20th November from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at UW–Madison’s Union South, with a live-streaming option for remote participants.
Designed for a public audience, the event will showcase the latest projects from the Dairy Innovation Hub. Recordings of the sessions will be available on YouTube following the event.
The day begins with registration, poster displays, and a continental breakfast at 9 a.m., followed by welcome remarks from UW–Madison Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin at 9:45 a.m.
The programme continues with a 10 a.m. session featuring impactful stories from farmers and end-users, and a series of research “lightning sessions” at 11 a.m.
Attendees will enjoy a networking lunch at 12:30 p.m., with additional opportunities to explore research posters. The afternoon offers two off-site tour options: the Arlington Agricultural Research Station or UW–Madison’s CALS campus research facilities.
Coach buses will provide transportation for these field-trip-style tours, ensuring attendees are returned to Union South by 4:30 p.m.
