The Montana Department of Agriculture (MDA) has announced the launch of its new Pesticide Portal, designed to provide 24-hour access to pesticide-related information and services.
The portal was developed in partnership with Accela Inc., expanding the department’s online service capabilities to better serve Montana’s agricultural community.
According to the MDA, the partnership allows the department to deliver efficient e-government services and make interactions with the public more convenient and interactive.
Through the portal, users can access valuable pesticide information, manage records, and explore online licensing tools at any time.
To use all available services, users are required to register and create an account. Once logged in, they can access a variety of features, including viewing data, submitting inquiries, and performing limited tasks as anonymous users. “We trust this will provide you with a new, higher level of service that makes living and working in our community a more enjoyable experience,” the department noted.
The new Pesticide Portal is accessible at aca-prod.accela.com/agr. In addition, public searches for applicator licenses, pesticide brands, and courses are available at ebizws.mt.gov/AGR_PUBLICPORTAL.
For additional support, users can contact the department via email:
 - Licensing inquiries: pestlicensing@mt.gov
- Product registration: pestreg@mt.gov
The MDA continues to serve Montana’s agricultural industry by improving accessibility and efficiency in regulatory processes. As the department emphasizes, it remains dedicated to “serving Montana agriculture and growing prosperity under the Big Sky.”
