The average price received by farmers for corn during July in Wisconsin was $6.04 per bushel. According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was 39-cents above the June price and $2.99 more than last July.
Soybean prices were $14.40 per bushel, about a dime less than a month earlier, but $6.04 above July 2020.
The price of oats averaged $3.15--about 12-cents below June, but 34-cents more than last month.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $153.00 per ton in July. This was $20.00 below the June price, but $4.00 above last year. Alfalfa hay prices averaged $172.00, which was down $11.00 for the month, but $9.00 higher for the year. The average price received for other hay was $108.00 per ton, $10.00 below the June price and $11.00 less than July of last year.
