Experts from USDA divisions, including NRCS, FSA, and RMA, will discuss farm loans, conservation tools, and risk management strategies. Derek Johnson, an experienced Farm Loan Officer, will present on maintaining farm records and FSA loan opportunities. Will Fett from NRCS will explain how conservation programs can benefit farmers with less than 10 years of experience.

This year’s event lineup includes additional dates -

April 15, 2025, at 12 p.m. PST

July 15, 2025, at 3 p.m. PST

October 21, 2025, at 12 p.m. PST

“We’re here to help beginner farmers navigate available resources and set a strong foundation for their operations,” said Derek Johnson.
