WCMA export workgroup to discuss trade show ROI

WCMA export workgroup to discuss trade show ROI

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) Export Workgroup will hold a hybrid meeting on Thursday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (CT) to help dairy processors and industry suppliers maximize their return on investment (ROI) at trade shows.

The meeting is open to all dairy processors and industry suppliers, regardless of their WCMA membership status. Participants can join in-person at WCMA's offices in Madison, Wisconsin or online.

The meeting agenda features a who's who of dairy export experts, including:

  • Stephen Cain of U.S. Dairy Export Council, who will discuss trends and forecasts
  • Dan Durand of Hidalgo Global, who will share information on how to determine target markets and select trade shows
  • Paul Sorenson of Food Export Midwest and Katie Ujdak of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, who will offer resources to support trade show impact
  • Representatives from Sartori Cheese, MCT Dairies, Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection's International Agribusiness Center, who will share their tips for an effective trade show experience

All presenters will field audience questions during the workshop, and in-person attendees will also enjoy a networking luncheon.

This educational opportunity is funded in part by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Questions or suggestions for WCMA’s Export Workgroup may be directed to Danica Nilsestuen at dnilsestuen@wischeesemakers.org.
