Six college students have been chosen for internships by CentralStar Cooperative, which serves dairy and beef producers in Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana.
Wisconsin interns include Allyson Harbridge of Fond du Lac and Brenton Wolf from Oconto Falls.
Harbridge is a junior at University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in animal science with a certificate in business management for agricultural and life sciences. She has a background in livestock sales, milking cows, and working at a veterinary clinic.
Wolf is a junior studying dairy science and agricultural business at UW-River Falls. He's interested in genetics and reproduction, as well as dairy health and nutrition.
CentralStar was established several years ago upon the merger between East Central/Select Sires and NorthStar Cooperative.
