A selection committee at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls' College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences has narrowed its list of finalists for candidates to replace former Dean Dale Gallenberg down to four.
In the running for the agricultural school's top position are Kyle Swanson, Ph. D., dean of Environmental Sciences at Metropolitan State University at St. Paul; Sereana Dresbach, Ph.D., associate dean and Extension director the University of Guam; Michael Orth, Ph.D., professor of Animal Sciences at Texas Tech University; and Holly Dolliver, Ph.D., chair of Department of Plant & Earth Sciences at UW-River Falls.
The college hopes to have its decision made by the end of this year.
Gunlberg retired as the CAFES dean on October 1 after 16 years on the job.
